The Auction

 The Auction. The actors offer, as if in an auction, objects that have true stories, a lemon, a checkpoint, a doggy, a toy gun, a bottle of water, tooth paste… all part of stories of true life. Some stories are told almost in a funny way, by clowns, without words, some are told in a dramatic way, sharing the true stories of life of who lives war, revolution, occupation and repression. The actors of Teatro di Nascosto – Hidden Theatre, come from different parts of the world, while the theatre’s base is in Volterra, Italy. They participated in different theater reportage performances. We are painful and sad that the actors of Baghdad (performance “Voices of Baghdad” of last October) cannot come for the extreme difficulties of getting visas.

 The performance will be in English and Arabic with the help of two young Palestinian actors that joined for this reason so that the performance is more accessible for an Arabic speaking audience.
